St Brelades Bay Hotel – DW Gym

This project constituted the provision of a new leisure facility at the hotel including a gym, spa, swimming pool, cafe, car park and associated plant rooms on the site of the staff annex, east wing, car park and sections of the garden.

This development essentially comprised of two distinct structures, the gym and the pool buildings. The gym was located at first floor level cut into a hillside. Flat slab construction with supporting columns was used and tied in with the ground floor parking.

The pool structure was of steel frame construction over the pool and plant room. The pool plant room construction used waterproof concrete with flat slabs over.
