Silver Birches, St Ouen

This project is nestled in St Ouen with dramatic views across the heath land and bay. It consisted of extending the existing property to form additional accommodation, replacing the existiing roof and extending the wraparound first floor decking area.

Our involvement for this project consisted of full structural design and appraisal of existing structure to receive increased loading and revised load paths.

Granite, cavity masonry, cedar cladding and zinc were all used to create feature affects and blend within existing surroundings. Portal frames, ridge beams, valley beams, reinforced concrete and structural steelworks were required to achieve the open plan vaulted first floor.
